Fine Living, Scripps Networks' cable and internet brand, will add a half-hour series, "Simplify Your Life," as well as a new one-hour special "Born American" to its Fall 2002 line-up. The network has
also granted early pick-up to four shows, including "Radical Sabbatical," "Your Private Island," "The Genuine Article," and "Breathing Room."
"Simplify Your Life" will introduce viewers to both
experts and everyday people who talk about organizing and simplifying their lives. "Born American" will explore American culture. It will look at everything from Wonder Bread to the Woodie, the Fender
Guitar to the Burton Snowboard, Coppertone Suntan Lotion to Barbie and more.
