Ford’s cult-status, high-performance Focus RS has a following in the U.S. even though it has never been sold here. Until now. In an elaborate premiere Tuesday in Cologne, Germany,
and broadcast around the world, Ford unveiled a global version of the RS. The all-wheel-drive hatchback, the first RS model to be sold in North America, will arrive next year, possibly as a 2017
model. The performance-oriented, front-wheel-drive Focus ST, which will remain in production.
