WALTER ISAACSON has announced his resignation. He will be replaced by company President/COO
Jim Walton. Isaacson is leaving in the spring to become President/CEO
of The Aspen Institute, a think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. Prior to CNN, Isaacson had held a number of high-level jobs at Time Inc., including Editorial Director, and had a successful
stint as Managing Editor of Time magazine.
