The buzz on Starbucks’ “Race Together” campaign ranges from critical to scathing. The campaign asks Starbucks baristas to start conversations about race relations by
scribbling "Race Together" on customers' cups. One typical comment, “It's the height of liberal American idealism and a staggering act of hubris to think can solve our systemic addiction to
racism over a Frappucino.”
