Just days after Europe’s largest low-cost carrier said it would go trans-Atlantic as early as 2019, and offer super-cheap flights across the pond, the Irish budget airline's board said it had
not approved plans to offer ultra-cheap flights between Europe and the United States. “The board of Ryanair Holdings P.L.C. wishes to clarify that it has not considered or approved any
trans-Atlantic project and does not intend to do so,” read a statement from the company.
