Google Disables Some Ad-Injecting Extensions For Chrome

Google says that nearly 200 ad-injecting extensions for the Chrome browser recently exposed 14 million users to malware or deceptive practices, Ars Technica reports. Google -- which recently disabled those extensions -- also says that more 5% of visitors to its sites have at least one ad-injecting extension on their browsers.
