Safeway Inc. announced that
ROJON HASKER has been named Senior Vice President, Marketing and Merchandising. Hasker was most recently President of the company's Phoenix division. Hasker joined
Safeway in 1972 as a clerk in Alaska. After progressing through the retail ranks she was named Retail Operations Manager in the Phoenix Division in 1997, and Vice President and Marketing Operations
Manager in January 2000. Later that year she was promoted to Phoenix Division President.
