'V.I.P.' Headed for R.I.P.

Columbia TriStar Domestic Television said on Thursday it is pulling the plug on its syndicated action-adventure series "V.I.P." starring Pamela Anderson, citing the financial woes of its production partner on the show, German media giant Kirch. The show airs on 222 TV stations. Anderson said the show has been sold into syndication to cable network TNN, and will start airing there in September.
