Subway's CMO Tony Pace is leaving the company to start a marketing consultancy. He said, in a phone interview Monday, that his departure is unrelated to the raid on the home of spokesperson Jared
Fogle, with whom the chain has suspended its relationship. He said he had been talking with the company about leaving prior to the Fogle investigation. Subway declined to comment beyond confirming
that Pace is leaving.
