HubSpot Fires Marketing Exec On Ethics Charge

Boston area start up HubSpot is in a spot of trouble after attempting to get their hands on a draft of a former employee’s book about the company, BetaBoston reports. According to the report, as a result of an independent investigation overseen by the company’s board of directors, the Cambridge tech firm has fired its top marketing executive, Mike Volpe, for violating HubSpot’s code of business conduct and ethics code.
