Annie Tomlin has been named beauty director at Self magazine, editor-in-chief Joyce Chang announced Monday, with responsibility for leading the direction of all the magazine’s beauty
content. Tomlin previously served as digital beauty director at Lucky, where she contributed to the launch of LuckyShops.com. She also served as beauty director at Refinery29, and was a founding
editor at Popsugar Beauty. Her new appointment is effective Sept.1. Self’s previous beauty director, Elaine D’Farley, is leaving the magazine to pursue other projects.
