Consumers aren't the only ones who are moving away from cable providers. Disney chairman and chief executive Bob Iger seems to get that. He said last week that the company, which owns
ABC and sports behemoth ESPN, is “very interested in taking products directly to consumers,” adding that Disney is launching an on-demand subscription app, DisneyLife, later this year
in the U.K.
