REVOLVING DOOR: Peter Levin Joins McCann Detroit As EVP, Executive Digital Creative Director

McCann Detroit named Peter Levin as executive vice president, executive digital creative director, a new position. Levin will work closely with Robin Chrumka and Mike Stocker to oversee the agency's overall creative and digital work for all clients, including ALDI, Ameriprise Financial, Priority Health, MGM Grand Detroit, General Motors and Pure Michigan. Most recently Levin worked at Team Detroit as senior vice president, group creative director, digital shopper marketing, where he led Ford-branded online shopper marketing initiatives and directed all original digital content. Levin began his advertising career as a copywriter working on websites for Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge. After that, he created successful digital, mobile, TV, radio and print campaigns for Ford, Lincoln, Salvation Army and General Motors' XM Satellite Radio partnership. "Peter knows how to start the right conversations with customers in the right channels," said Mel Smart, executive vice president, general manager, McCann Detroit. "His extensive background and his proven track record of spearheading effective campaigns for major global brands make him the ideal candidate to help us continue to raise the bar on our creative product, as well as to help place us firmly at the forefront of the rapidly evolving digital arena."
