Omnicom's direct marketing shop LLKFB is overhauling its senior team this week with a number of promotions and hires.
In the promotions area, Loreen Babcock, one of the agency's founding partners
and president, has been named chairman and CEO.
And for new hires, David Finkel, previously chairman and CEO at Brann Worldwide, has joined the agency in the newly created position of president
and chief operating officer. At the same time, Harry Koenig, the current COO and one of the agency's founders, announced that he would be leaving the company to provide consultative services for
start-up companies.
These movements complete a management transformation that began in November 2003 with the hiring of Joe Cupani as chief creative officer. Within the next six months after
Cupani's hiring, Claire Hassid, Mitch Ratliff, and Mark Klapper all joined LLKFB to take on new senior management positions within the agency and become part of a new Operating Committee created to
spearhead a "second renaissance," an LLKFB spokesman said. --David Kaplan
