Pinterest About To Get Into Video Advertising

It seems social media channel Pinterest will, like its rivals, bring video ads to its platform. According to agencies briefed, the platform plans to roll out a video ad unit, though the format has not been disclosed. “Just like the evolution of other platforms, it makes sense for Pinterest to accommodate video,” said an ad exec who was told of the plans. Advertisers said Pinterest would build an ad that is native to its platform.
