The Supreme Court rejected Apple's request to review a finding that the company violated antitrust laws by orchestrating a conspiracy to increase the price of ebooks. The antitrust finding grew out
of a 2012 lawsuit alleging that Apple conspired with Hachette, HarperCollins, Penguin, Simon & Schuster and Macmillan to put an end to Amazon's practice of charging $9.99 for the ebook versions of
bestsellers.
