In a surprising turn in the Democratic nominating contest, former President Bill Clinton seemed to attack President Obama’s legacy. Campaigning for his wife in Washington state, Clinton said: “If you believe we can all rise together, if you believe we’ve finally come to the point where we can put the awful legacy of the last eight years behind us … then you should vote for her. She's the only person who basically had good ideas.”
As someone who voted twice for Bill Clinton in the general election, I am truly disappointed and disgusted. As difficult as it is to believe, he has become at least as reprehensible as Hillary.
I hope that this encourages everyone to support Bernie Sanders, a far more ethical (and viable!) candidate.
