Gawker Media has filed papers asking Florida judge Pamela Campbell to reverse a jury's decision to award $140 million to Hulk Hogan for violating his privacy by posting excerpts of a sex tape. The
company also filed papers asking for a new trial or, alternatively, to reduce the award to $1.875 million. Campbell will hear arguments on the motions at a hearing on May 25. If she rules against
Gawker, the company plans to appeal to a higher court.
