Speaking on CNN’s ‘State of the Union,’ Libertarian candidate for president Gary Johnson has come out strong against Donald Trump’s rhetoric. When asked to address Trump’s racially insensitive comments, Johnson explained: “Based on his statements, clearly. I mean, if statements are being made, is that not reflective?” For Johnson, at about 8% in national pools, calling Trump racist ratchets up campaign rhetoric. On "Rachel Maddow" last month, Hillary Clinton charged that Trump's comments about Judge Curiel were racist and bigoted.
