In an effort to woo small and medium business clients, Yellow Pages and Internet Directory publisher Dex Media has introduced a new service dubbed Web Clicks, which offers fixed-rate prices for guaranteed traffic from major search engine sites like Google and Yahoo!. The service also includes Web site design, hosting, and management.

The packages start at $99.95 a month for Web design services, and $70 a month for guaranteed clicks only. The Web sites designed by Dex Media range from the "standard" package that includes a 3-page site, hosting, and 10 e-mail addresses to the "premium" package that includes up to 10 pages of site, an e-commerce store, a product catalogue, auctions powered by eBay, and other features, and costs $229.95 per month, plus a $599 e-commerce set-up cost. Dex Media aims to get the clicks to the customers' Web site through pay-per-click keyword auctions, which it manages for its clients.
