USA Sticks With Original Slate

The USA Network has announced the development of a slew of new mini-series that it hopes will continue to strike a chord with viewers. “King Tut” follows explorer and Egyptologist Howard Carter during his search for King Tut's tomb. Executive producers include Sean Daniel, Jim Jacks and Caldecot Chubb ("The Mummy," "Scorpion King," "Attila") “The Crusades” follows the historical struggle for control of the Holy Land, and is based on the book "Lionhearts: Richard I, Saladin and the Era of the Third Crusade" by Geoffrey Regan. Other series in devlopment include a new take on “Papillon” and “Spartacus.”
