Taxpayer Group Urges Restraint In Anti-Spyware Legislation

The taxpayer advocacy group Citizens Against Government Waste called upon Congress to tread carefully when crafting anti-spyware legislation. Tom Schatz, president of the organization, warned in a statement that new laws could "transform the FTC into an expensive and intrusive national software regulator."
