Comedian and media owner Byron Allen Wednesday confirmed his company, Entertainment Studios, is "aggressively" pursuing a $2.2 billion takeover of Paxson Communications, the company that owns a group
of TV stations that form the basis of Family-Friendly programming network Pax. General Electric's NBC unit holds a 32 percent stake in Paxson Communications, which has turned rocky in recent years.
