Star Shower Price Battle Rattles Retailers

In the days after Thanksgiving, A.J. Khubani watched his company’s holiday laser-light machine, the Star Shower Motion, rocket up in Amazon’s sales rankings. “Keeping everybody happy while we are selling on Amazon has become a challenge,” Khubani said. Traditional retailers still contribute the bulk of the company’s sales, he said, while Amazon’s share is only about 2% of annual revenue for the item.
