Ford's Self-Driving Car Gets Smarter

Ford plans to debut an upgraded version of its self-driving Ford Fusion Hybrid sedan, one with more advanced sensors, more computing power and proprietary software that helps the car think for itself. The automaker's self-driving prototype has a brain located in the trunk that processes data collected by a host of high-tech sensors that can see the road.

    That's what we all need, millions of 4000 pound inanimate rolling objects "thinking for itself"

    Thanx, but no thanx.  I still have not met one person who is interested in this. Only Tech-lemmings are interested.

    PS:
    No one EVER mentions cost to the vehicle.
    Ford says the internal brain of it's car can process one pterodactyl amount of data per hour, equal to 45 years of cell data . That can't be cheap. The price of laziness is limitless
