Going forward, French companies will be required to guarantee their employees a “right to disconnect” from gadgets. The new employment law is part of an effort “to tackle the
modern-day scourge of compulsive out-of-hours email checking,”
The Guardian reports. Organizations with more than 50 employees are now obliged to define the rights of employees to
silence their smartphones.
