Three judges sitting on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, a traditionally liberal court that sits in San Francisco, heard arguments from the U.S. Justice Department, in defense of
President Donald Trump’s travel order, and from Washington State's AG, in opposition to the travel moratorium.
A decision on whether to continue a pause on the order, or reverse the
District Court’s decision to do so, is expected by the end of this week or early next.
