President Trump asked retired Vice Admiral Robert Harward to fill the role of National Security Adviser vacated by General Michael Flynn -- an offer he has been turned down. Harward cited
family and financial reasons for turning down the position. He is currently a senior executive at Lockheed Martin. People familiar with the situation said another reason Harward turned down the offer
was because Trump was not going to give him full latitude to bring in his own team.
