Beating analysts’ estimates, Amazon saw net sales during the first quarter increase by 23% to $35.7 billion. The tech giant credited
retail and cloud-computing sales with the strong performance, Reuters reports. “More fees from Amazon’s Prime shopping club
and media streaming services, along with growing advertising revenue, also boosted results.”
