A federal judge who is presiding over a battle between Google and Uber has
recommended that federal prosecutors investigate whether Uber stole trade secrets regarding self-driving cars from Google. U.S. District Court Judge William Alsup, who issued the recommendation,
currently presides over claims that former Google engineer Anthony Levandowski stole 14,000 confidential documents -- including trade secrets -- before joining Uber.
