Email automation provider Klaviyo has named Steve Wietrecki as chief revenue officer, reportedly a newly created position.Wietrecki will manage business operations, finance, sales, and
marketing.
Wietrecki recently served as chief operating officer of ClassPass and Rocana, and has worked on ecommerce strategy with retail brands such as Victoria’s Secret and Under
Armor. He also has held positions with Backupify, and other companies.
Andrew Bialecki, CEO and co-founder of Klaviyo, notes that Wietrecki has “served as both an operational
strategist to startups and a growth-minded executive at public companies.” He adds that this background will be “incredibly helpful” to Klaviyo as it pursues its current high-growth
trajectory.
The company did not release revenue numbers. Bostino reports that Klaviyo has been so quiet “it never even
announced the $7 million Series A round it raised early last year from Astral Capital.”
