NY Times Co. Names Chief Ad Officers

The New York Times Co. Monday named two senior ad executives to the new post of chief advertising officer of its two major media groups. Denise Warren, senior vice president-strategic planning for The New York Times, was named senior vice president-chief advertising officer for The New York Times Media Group. Mary Jane Patrone, senior vice president-sales and marketing for The Boston Globe, was named senior vice president-chief advertising officer for The New England Media Group. Warren will be responsible for $1.2 billion in ad sales at The New York Times, the International Herald Tribune, NYTimes.com and WQXR-FM. Patrone will be responsible for $480 million in ad sales for The Boston Globe, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, Boston.com and Globe Specialty Products.
