Sendwithus, a communications management company, has ramped up its executive team in the wake of its recent $5 million Series A funding round, naming Megan Tobin as vice president of marketing and Will Warren as vice president of engineering. 

The firm’s mission is to help companies create global, targeted transactional emails quickly and at scale, the company says. 

Tobin has led marketing strategy for several B2B cloud technology companies and SaaS providers, most recently serving as director of creative and brand for HR software provider TriNet.

Warren was most recently co-founder and CTO of GroupBy Inc., and helped grow the firm from zero to 70 team members in four years. He has one awarded patent and several pending.

Sendwithus serves a variety of mid-market, high-volume clients — its “bread and butter” — but has discovered that large enterprise mailers are also using its email tool — “large-scale enterprises with many brands and product lines,” Tobin says.

It will launch a tailored enterprise solution in the spring to help those companies with their email workflows. It is now in beta, Tobin adds. 

Tobin says she is drawn to companies that help clients resolve problems. Sendwithus staffers are “avid fans of listening to feedback and truly solve the problem,” she says.   Matt Harris, Co-founder and CEO of Sendwithus, states that Tobin and Warren “will bring considerable bench strength to the company.”
