
Former Time Inc. Senior
Vice President Regina Buckley will become the next chief financial and operating officer at The Guardian US. Buckley was previously general manager and SVP of digital operations and
business development at Time Inc.
She will replace Chris Carr, EVP of finance at The Guardian US, who is leaving after nearly three years at the company.
Buckley will report
directly to The Guardian's US and Australia chief executive Evelyn Webster, and will work “to grow and expand the US business,” according to the company.
“With a
diverse revenue mix that includes advertisers, readers and philanthropic partnerships, I look forward to working with Evelyn and the team to build The Guardian’s presence even further in
the US market,” Buckley stated.

Buckley has spent over 20 years at Time Inc., and has also previously served as the SVP of finance and general manager for the Style & Entertainment
Group.
“Regina blends a unique skill set across finance, strategy and business development and she will play an important role as we continue to grow The Guardian's US
business,” Webster stated.
Guardian USracked up more than 300,000
paying supporters in the year since it began asking American readers to voluntarily contribute funds to support its journalism.
The contributions now account for more than a third of the
newspaper's revenue.
The group of U.S. supporters include a mix of members, recurring contributors, one-time contributors and digital subscribers, according to the company.
In December,
John Mulholland, editor of the British Sunday newspaper
