Croughton Tapped As New EIC, 'Robb Report'

Paul Croughton, most recently the founding editor of the British edition of Robb Report, will become editor in chief, moving to its New York office in July. 

Croughton counts 20+ years of experience as an award-winning journalism and editor, working in traditional and digital media. While partner and editor at the creative agency Brave New World in London, Croughton was tasked with envisioning Robb Report UK and opened the brand up to a European audience.

Prior to that, Croughton spent a decade working at consumer magazines like Arena, a men’s style journal where he stayed for seven years. Following his time at Arena, Croughton worked at the Sunday Times, eventually holding a senior position at the Sunday Times Magazine. He has also written for the Observer, the Telegraph and Wall Street Journal Magazine.

Jay Penske, chairman and CEO of Penske Media Corporation, cited Croughton's “unwavering commitment to best-in-class storytelling and content creation." He stated it was an good time for a new appointment as Robb Report celebrates 30 years of its signature Best of the Best franchise this month.

Robb Report was acquired by Penske Media Corporation in early 2017. The brand’s Best of the Best gathers the most coveted in men’s fashion, automobiles, yachts, restaurants, watches and more.

Robb Report counts 18 international editions and its website RobbReport.com among its properties. Other brand extensions include Muse by Robb ReportHost’s Guide and Watch Collector.
