In a first of its kind partnership between the two groups, Sotheby’s International Realty and the Dow Jones Media Group will produce Reside, a luxury lifestyle magazine geared towards clients and potential clients of Sotheby’s International Realty.
Dow Jones Media Group will create the custom publication and produce exclusive content for Sotheby’s audience. Additional content will come from the Sotheby's International Realty brand and the Sotheby's auction house.
Kevin Thompson, CMO, Sotheby's International Realty Affiliates LLC stated: "We have done extensive research and know that lifestyle, real estate and home-design print publications are increasingly important to luxury consumers.
Reside was designed with these luxury consumers in mind, understanding the way they consume content, the types of content they are interested in, and reaching them in a way they prefer.”
Reside provides an “end-to-end publishing solution” for Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate companies taking part in the program through distribution of individualized issues of the magazine, a platform to showcase homes represented by the realty brand and access to the Dow Jones Media Group’s global distribution network and models.
The first issue will appear on June 18 and include individualized issues from Big Sky Sotheby's International Realty in Montana, Bossa Nova Sotheby's International Realty in Brazil, Damianos Sotheby's International Realty in the Bahamas, and Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty in Greater Long Island, New York, among others.
The Sotheby’s International Realty network encompasses 22,000 affiliated sales associates, across 950 offices in 70 countries and territories.
Luke Bahrenburg, vice president of real estate at Dow Jones, stated: “This partnership will allow the Sotheby's International Realty network of global affiliates to fuse rich lifestyle content alongside extraordinary homes to create a bespoke experience for luxury consumers around the world."
