Guinness owner Diageo will open its first U.S. brewery on Aug. 3, in Baltimore. Guinness last made its iconic dark stout on U.S. soil in the 1950s. Now it’s hoping that its new American
brewery and visitor experience will prove as popular as its flagship brewery in Dublin. Located on a 62-acre former Seagram’s bottling plant, it will employ about 200 people and be open for
tours, taproom tastings and dining.
