With Babies R Us out of business, Walmart is pushing more aggressively into merchandise for new parents. Cribs, strollers and all things baby are big business, generating roughly $62.7
billion in U.S. sales in 2016, according to consultancy GlobalData. And the opportunity to tap into that lucrative niche has dramatically increased in the wake of Babies R Us stores going out of
business in June.
