Real estate marketplace HomeLight, with its analysis of over 30 million residential real estate transactions, will power
U.S. News and World Report’s online realtor recommendation tool,
while also providing market trends and content for the publication’s real estate section.
HomeLight’s Vanessa Brockway, who works on the company’s business development team, told
Publishers Daily, “By partnering, HomeLight is able to extend the reach of its agent network and data to drive more-informed real estate decisions, while U.S. News can provide
its readers with an expanded product experience in the real estate category.”
Readers will gain info on about 7,000 cities nationwide, with USNews.com’s research on home
improvement, financing, and buying and selling advice combined with HomeLight’s market statistics, list of top performing agents and demographic data.
Consumers fill out a short online
form to connect with those real estate agents who best meet their needs based on agent performance.

According to Brockway, the partnership will be closely watched for the percentage of
U.S. News readers who engage with the agent category, how many readers express interest in connecting with an agent and how many readers ultimately work with a HomeLight recommended agent to
manage their real estate transaction.
HomeLight claims to be the only company in the U.S. using performance data to home in on agents who sell properties faster and for more money, allowing
homeowners to make data-driven decisions when selecting an agent. The company has been working to expand its partnerships with companies interested in increasing audience engagement and expanding
product offerings.
