Gerber Products Company kicks-off a national nutrition campaign this week to increase public awareness of lifelong healthy eating habits early in a two-page advertisement appearing in the August 26
issue of Time Magazine. Frank Palantoni, CEO, Gerber said the brand “feels a responsibility" tom address an increase in childhood obesity, with over 13% of school-age children overweight. Next steps
in its consumer call-to-action "Start Healthy" campaign, include completion of research on pediatric nutrition, specifically infant feeding habits, by year end and a national consumer education
campaign beginning in October.
