Canon Solutions America, Inc. has joined up with Barracuda Networks, Inc. to make the latter’s cloud-based security service PhishLine available to clients.
The goal is to
provide Canon customers with “access to easy to use simulation and training that will transform employees from potential victims into the first line of defense against sophisticated phishing
attacks," states Peter Kowalczuk, president of Canon Solutions America.
In addition to employee training, PhishLine provides a range of email templates, landing pages and domains, Barracuda
says. It also embeds learning into business processes, using custom simulations that test and reinforce user behavior.
The objective is to “prevent email fraud, data loss, and
brand damage by training and testing employees to recognize highly targeted phishing attacks," states Ezra Hookano, VP of Channels at Barracuda.
