Peterson Returns As CEO Of Agari

Patrick Peterson, the founder and executive chairman of Agari, has reassumed the role of chief executive officer. He replaces Ravi Khatod, who joined the firm in 2016.

Peterson founded the email security company in 2009, and served as CEO until 2016.

During Khatod’s tenure, Agari tripled annual recurring revenue and last year achieved a $40 million growth equity round led by Goldman Sachs, the company says.

Peterson states that he has stayed close to the business over the past three years. He plans to focus on investing in the firm’s Secure Email Cloud service.
