Fugue Extends Its Cloud Compliance Service To Payment Field

Fugue, a cloud security company that serves email marketers and other firms, has debuted a service to help firms comply with Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements.

In addition to PCI, the company supports cloud compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, NIST 800-53, AWS CIS and Benchmark.

Fugue provides inventory and compliance monitoring of enterprise cloud environments.

The objective is to help firms “scan cloud environments, identify policy violations, and continuously monitor for compliance for a growing number of industry compliance standards,” states Fugue CEO Phillip Merrick.

GlobalGiving, a crowdfunding community that has tried the PCI service, finds that Fugue “makes it possible for us to demonstrate to our PCI auditors that no configuration drift has happened in our environments,” states Justin Rupp, senior systems engineer at GlobalGiving.

Merrick adds: “Today’s highly dynamic, at-scale enterprise cloud environments present significant challenges for compliance teams that need to certify that cloud infrastructure adheres to policy and demonstrate it on a continuous basis.”
