7-Eleven Freshens Agency Roster, Leaves Media At Camelot

Convenience store operator 7-Eleven Friday unveiled plans for FreshWorks, a new "virtual agency" comprised of various Omnicom units that would be devoted exclusively to 7-Eleven. Omnicom units including Tracy Locke, TPN, Dieste Harmel & Partners and The Integer Group will handle integrated marketing communications, including advertising, promotions and point-of-purchase. Camelot Communications Inc. will continue to handle media buying. WPP Group and the Interpublic Group were finalists in the pitch. -- Joe Mandese
