180solutions Joins NAI

  • September 2, 2005
Adware company 180solutions has become an associate member of the influential industry group Network Advertising Initiative. Sean Sundwall, a 180solutions spokesman, said the company joined the group in hopes of weighing in on the debate surrounding current industry issues, including the stalled anti-spyware bills pending in Congress. "We want to make sure our interests and our voice will be heard," said Sundwall.

At least one rival adware company, Direct Revenue, also is an associate member of the organization. Full members include behavioral targeting companies Revenue Science and Tacoda, among others. Behavior Link, the new behavioral targeting service of Claria Corp.--long known as an adware purveyor--also is a full member.
