Comcast service has been restored following a Thursday outage, although scattered complaints continued to come in on Friday.

“SLOW AS HELL in Eastpointe, Mi, 1/20th speed for the last 3 days,” writes one user on downdetector.

“Internet down" for the past 2 days in Columbia, MO, another user reports.

However, a Comcast spokesperson told nj.com that service had been restored after a brief outage. 

Reports to downdetector fell off markedly after 3:30 Thursday afternoon, and were down to a trickle on Friday afternoon.

The company had suffered a nationwide outage, with the most-reported locations including Chicago, Seattle, San Jose, Miami, Houston, Philadelphia and Denver.
