Harley-Davidson has named Jochen Zeitz, a board member hailed for turning around the Puma brand’s near-bankrupt business, as its interim chief. Chief Executive Officer Matthew Levatich stepped down following the company’s worst sales performance in at least 16 years, reports Reuters. An external search firm has been charged with finding a new chief executive. “Since Levatich took the helm, Harley's shares have fallen 46%,” per Reuters. “By comparison, the S&P 500 Index .SPX has gained 40%.”
