'WaPo' Technology 202 Network Joins Tech, Consumer, Government Leaders

The Washington Postis tapping into the minds of more than 100 leaders across tech, government and consumer advocacy with its invite-only Technology 202 Network.

Members hail from companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, AT&T, Verizon, Uber, Microsoft, Cloudflare, Slack and TikTok, among others.

Perspectives captured from the Technology 202 Network through regular surveys will be gathered by WaPo tech reporter Cat Zakrzewski and will appear in the Technology 202 newsletter, which debut ed this week.

The newsletter is written by Zakrzewski and researcher Tonya Riley.

“The Technology 202 Network gives readers something they cannot get anywhere else: The inside scoop on what the top leaders in the tech and tech policy space are thinking about the critical topics of the moment,” stated Sara Sorcher, deputy editor of PowerPost, the WaPo’s franchise of 202 newsletters and Power Up.

“We will continue growing the network, adding prominent voices to capture the different perspectives of the tech debate,” she added.

The new network will address various topics, such as privacy, election integrity, AI and emerging transportation.

Current network members include AOL founder and former CEO Steve Case, Craigslist founder Craig Newmark, former transportation secretary and Lyft executive Anthony Foxx and Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee), head of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Tech Task Force.
