After conducting an internal investigation into payola activities, Clear Channel has dismissed two unnamed employees. The investigation was conducted as the result of a legal settlement reached two
months ago between the New York State Attorney General, Eliot Spitzer, and Sony BMG, in which allegations were raised that some CC programmers engaged in illegal pay-for-play activities.
