Zuckerberg No Fan Of TikTok Ban

Mark Zuckerberg is telling Facebook employees that he’s no fan of President Trump’s plan to ban TikTok in the U.S., Buzzfeed reports. “I just think it’s a really bad long-term precedent, and that it needs to be handled with the utmost care and gravity whatever the solution is,” Facebook’s cofounder/CEO said during a company-wide meeting, this week. Yet, he added: “I certainly think that there are valid national security questions about having an app that has a lot of people’s data that follows the rules of another country.”

    I live in Australia.

    I agree with your statement that" I certainly think that there are valid national security questions about having an app that has a lot of people’s data that follows the rules of another country.”

    So do you agree that countries outside of the US should have valid national security questons about your app(s) that have a lot of people's data?   And if so, what is your plan to remedy the situation?

    P.S.   Any intention to pay tax at local levels rather than off-shoring revenue to tax havens?
